Chuck Roast

1 (3 pound) chuck roast1 (a oz) packet au jus gravy mix
½ (12 oz jar) pepperoncini1 (.4 oz) package buttermilk ranch dressing mix
½ (12 oz jar) pepperoncini juicesalt & pepper to taste
½ cup unsalted butter

Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low until roast is fork-tender, about 8 hours.
