Cornbread

1 cup all-purpose flour1 tsp salt
1 cup yellow cornmeal1 cup milk
⅔ cup sugar⅓ cup vegetable oil
3 ½ tsp baking powder1 large egg

Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly grease a 9-inch round cake pan.

Whisk flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt together in a large bowl.

Add milk, vegetable oil, and egg; whisk until well combined.

Pour batter into the pan and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
