2 lbs ground beef (use chorizo) | |
½ cup uncooked rice (cook it halfway) | |
1 tbsp chopped onion | 2 tsp beef bouillon |
3 chopped green peppers | 2 tsp salt |
2 quarts water (use less) | ¼ brown sugar |
28 oz diced tomatoes | 1 tsp pepper |
29 oz tomato sauce | ½ tsp garlic pepper |
In a Dutch oven or stockpot, brown beef, onion, and peppers.
Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
